  • Beschrijving: A hand is seen to perform magic tricks to make quantities of coins appear and disappear. At one point, the head of a man appears who begins to produce coins from his mouth while the hand taps his forehead. As a finale, the coins magically fly upwards and are collected by the two hands. The film forms part of what is known as 'cinema of attractions', successor to the popular shows of the late nineteenth century. Beyond a simple narrative, the film seeks to astound and amaze the audience through a series of visual tricks: transformations, overlays, substitutions and reverse motion, among other effects.
